Lloyd Christopher (Chris) Lawson

Lloyd Christopher “Chris” Lawson, 44 of Scott Depot formerly of Bolt passed away June 20th, 2021, at his home. Born July 11, 1976, in Beckley he is the son of Bill and Paulette Dishmon Lawson of Bolt WV.

Chris worked for West Virginia American Water and was United States Navy Veteran working with the United States Naval Construction Battalions, better known as the Navy Seabees. He attended the Maranatha Fellowship Church in Saint Albans, WV.

Besides his parents he is survived by; his wife Beth Lawson, two daughters, Katherine Grace Lawson, and Rachel Elisabeth Lawson, one stepdaughter, Julia Grayce Pence all of Scott Depot, one brother, Kevin Lawson, and wife Melinda of Prattville AL, five nieces and nephews, Aiden, Brittany, Alex, Zachary, and Kalie. Also, his dog Coco, who was his best friend.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25th, 2021, at the Melton Mortuary Chapel at 1200 Harper Road in Beckley WV with Pastor, Dean Adams officiating. Friends may call on the family from 12 noon until service time on Friday.
