Lucy Amanda Ayers

Lucy "Amanda" Ayers was born on February 22nd, 1983 in Beckley, West Virginia to her parents Roger Dale and Lucy Mae (Smith) Redden. She went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on October 24th, 2023 at the young age of 40.

Amanda leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 20 yrs, Michael "Shaun" Ayers, son Ethan Ayers, mother Lucy Redden, brother Roger "Steve" Redden and his wife Jamie; nephew Oliver Redden; and many friends who will miss her dearly. Lucy is preceded in death by her father Roger Dale Redden; maternal grandparents Gilbert and Irene Smith; and her paternal grandparents Luther and Esta Redden.

Amanda graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 2002 and attended ACT for Phlebotomy. She worked at The Villages at Greystone and Appalachian Tire. She enjoyed shopping and fishing in her spare time. She was a hard worker and took pride in caring for her family.

A committal service is scheduled for November 14, 2023 at 2 pm at the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting Amanda's tribute page. Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center have been entrusted with cremation arrangements.
