Marcia Ann Sachs

Marcia Ann Sachs, 67, of Oceana, WV, was granted her angel wings on Wednesday, March 12, 2021,

with family and her best friend by her side at Bowers Hospice House. She was born on April 14, 1954 in

Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

She was an avid reader and gardener, who loved adventure. A traveler at heart, who enjoyed meeting

new people and experiencing all that new places had to offer. A stranger to no one, she had the kindest,

most giving spirit. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members and

friends alike.

She was preceded in death by her father Bobby Lee Grimes, Sr.; mother Peggy Cox Grimes; and her brother Bobby

Lee Grimes Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother and spouse, Anthony “Andy” and Denise Grimes;

her daughters and their spouses, Tamra and Brian King, Heather and Shawn Bland; Grandchildren,

Victoria King, Samuel King, and Sophia Bland.

At her request, no memorial service will be held. Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center has been
