Margaret Ann Wilson

Margaret A. Wilson was born on February 21, 1946 in Siler City, North Carolina to her parents Hubert and Katie (Johnson) Baker.  She gained her Heavenly wings on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 in Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 75.

Margaret is preceded in death by her two sons John and James Wilson; parents Hubert and Katie; sister Edna White; and her brothers Ray and James Baker.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 44 years, Larry Ralph Wilson; daughters Belinda Mae Wilson and Lisa and Bobby Hankins; grandchildren Zackery, Savanah, Hunter, Emilee, Ella, London, Raelynn, and Blake Hankins, Kimberly Ellis, Preston, John John (Kristen), and Christopher (Megan) Wilson; great-grandchildren Kendall, Emma, Layla, and Sabrina Wilson, and Chloe Britt; sister Eva Fox; brother Jerry (Tanya) Baker; and many extended family and friends who will miss her.

Margaret was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking and loved singing praises to the Lord at church.  Her most cherished time spent was playing and laughing with her grandkids.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 6 – 8 pm at Grace Chapel, 918 Dry Hill Rd., Beckley.  A funeral service celebrating Margaret’s life will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 1 pm with Pastor Randy Mann officiating.  Interment will follow services at the Hankins Family Cemetery, 76 Fisherman’s Cove, Layland, WV 25864.  Family and friends will serve honorably as pallbearers.  For those who wish, the family has invited attendees to their home following the services at 142 Shannontown Road, Beckley, WV 25801.
