Margaret A. Newman, 91 of Crab Orchard passed away peacefully at home on June 23rd, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband John E. Newman, brothers James, George, and Donald Bell, sisters Mildred Bell, Doris Wyatt, Evelyn Lilly, mary Ellison, Betty Ballard, and Madeline "Madge" Snodgrass, adopted son John M. Newman, and grandson Andrew A. Wingrove. 

Those who are left to cherish her memory are her daughter Terri Wingrove(Allen) of Crab Orchard, Hope Brisby who was taken in at an early age, and raised by John and Margaret Newman, sister Erma Vest of Cool Ridge, niece June Ballard of Beckley, who was like a sister. She had 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews. 

A graveside funeral service will take place for Margaret on Wednesday July 2, 2025 at 1:00pm in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity, WV.
