Margaret Ann Wheeler

Margaret Ann Wheeler, age 92, of 200 Greystone Drive, Beaver, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Villages at Greystone. Born March 4, 1930, at Skelton, WV, she was the daughter of Frank and Beatrice (West) Williams.
Prior to moving to the Villages at Greystone in 2018, Margaret was a life-long resident of Piney View WV. She was a homemaker and enjoyed the hobbies of crochet and sewing. In her later years, Margaret loved to go on vacations, and she was an avid reader. Margaret was a dedicated believer in Jesus Christ and shined as an example of Christ’s love to all who knew her.
Margaret is survived by her three children; Carol Marie Martin and husband Virgil of Beckley, WV; Beatrice Kay Higginbotham and husband Clark Jr of Piney View, WV; William A. Wheeler and wife Ieva. of Piney View, WV.
Margaret has two grandsons: Lee Martin and wife Jessica of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, and Dr. Kenneth Martin and wife Krystal of Williamstown, WV. Two stepgrandchildren Samuel Thorn of Beckley, and Sherry Green of Oak Hill. She has three great-grandchildren: Ashleigh, Ryleigh, and Garrett Martin of Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William L. Wheeler; a sister, Thella Mae Lilly, three brothers, Max Williams, Ray Williams, and Leonard (Skippy) Williams ; a step grandson Michael Thorn of Piney View.
Services will be held at Melton Mortuary, Harper Road, Beckley, WV. On August 11, 2022 in the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Services will take place at 1:00pm. Friends and family may call one hour prior. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park. Officiating will be Margaret’s grandson, Lee Martin and her nephew, Lee Fischer. Pall bearers will be William Wheeler, Lee Martin, Ken Martin, Virgil Martin, Garrett Martin, Lee Fischer, and Clark Higginbotham.
