Mary Kay Lambert, Age 82 of Fairdale, WV passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025 in Oak Hill, WV.

She was born in Queen Shoals, WV to William "Burns" and Pauline Gillespie on March 9, 1943.

Mary was proceeded in death by her parents, spouse Noah "Jerry" Lambert, brother Bernard Saulisbury, brother Clyde Gillespie and sister Betty Pritchett.

She is survived by her children Jim Bower and wife Melanie; Cindy Mann and husband David; Clyde Bower II and wife Linda; grandchildren Sam Bower; Brittany Stanley and husband Joe; Mary Catherine Mann; and Corey Mann; five great-grandchildren; brother Sam Gillespie; sisters Carol Grady, Louise Patrick, Linda Steneback, Brenda Dodson, and Patricia McMullan.

Mary graduated from East Bank High School in Charleston, WV in 1961. After graduation, she moved to Washington DC to pursue a career with the Federal Government. She returned to West Virginia in 1971, and continued her career until she retired with 38 years of service. Mary enjoyed traveling and gardening.

Services will be held on Friday, April 11th, 2025 at the Melton Mortuary Funeral Chapel in Beckley, WV. The family will receive visitors beginning at 3:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Hospice House of Southern West Virginia in Mary's honor.
