Mary Alice Bowling

Mary Alice Bowling, 48 of Beckley, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021.  She was born on April 11, 1973 in Beckley, WV to her parents Marple Harrison Jr. and Angela (McMillion) Harrison Harper.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Brandon C. Bowling; 3 sons Caleb Calloway, Dylan Bowling, and Peyton Bowling; sister Jennifer Hall; nieces Natalie and Meredith Hall; step-father John Harper; and many friends who will miss her dearly.

Mary was a loving and devoted teacher, wife, and mother.  She enjoyed travelling south to the beach, shopping, and watching her sons play baseball.  Her true passion in life was taking care of others and teaching children. Mary wasn’t just a teacher but she was a mentor, caregiver, and inspiration to all who knew her.  She was a selfless servant to others and took great joy in helping change the lives of all children.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Melton Mortuary.  A funeral service will begin at 3 pm with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
