Mary Margaret (Osborne) Chapman

Mary Margaret Chapman, 78 of MacArthur went to be with the Lord on August 8th, 2019 following a long illness.

Born July 9th, 1941 in Red Jacket WV, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Mamie Totton Osborne.

Maggie loved spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren which were the joy of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Chapman and one daughter, Terri Ann Gardner. Two sisters, Jenny Brown, Sue Green and two brothers, Jim, and Joe Osborne.

Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Dee Scott (Jackie), and Sandy Gardner (Shawn), Jane Anne Crouch (James); one sister, Peggy Fleeman (Kenny), seven grandchildren, Erik and Zach Gardner (whom she raised); Christine Cozart, Jennifer Milam, Michael and Paige Crouch, Alyssa Hellems, and twelve great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly, and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 at, 2:00 pm at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of service on Wednesday.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Beckley.

Pallbearers will be; Erik and Zach Gardner, James and Michael Crouch, Alvin Cozart and Josh Milam.
