Mary Lou Daniel

Mary Lou Daniel gained her heavenly wings on February 7, 2021 in Beckley, WV at the age of 75.  She was born on July 19, 1945 to the late Clarence Ed and Edna Alice (McCormick) Cochran in Eccles, WV.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, John Kelly Daniel; her son Matthew Royal; parents Clarence and Edna; and many siblings.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters Teresa (Kenneth) Daniel and Sonya Dee Ward; grandchildren Autumn and Rebecca Daniel; 1 sister; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Mary Lou was an outdoors lady who took pride and enjoyed spending time in her yard.  She loved to ride on her riding lawn mower and enjoy the day.  Playing in the back yard was a past time favorite.  She also enjoyed crocheting throws for her family.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 6 pm – 8 pm at Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center Chapel.  For those who wish to attend, masks and social distancing are required.  Words of comfort may be offered to the family at www.meltonmortuary.com
