Mary Jo Hudak

Mary Jo Hudak, 81 of Beckley, gained her Heavenly reward on July 27,2022. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine Loria of Hepzibah, West Virginia. She was greeted at Heaven’s gate by her loving husband of 53 years, Michael Hudak, Jr, her daughter Marsha Jill Hudak, and her furry companion Napoleon whom she loved very dearly.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son Michael Hudak III (Wendy) of Rock Hill, SC, daughter Michelle Ormandy (Daniel) of Shady Spring, WV and son Jason Hudak (Lori) of Beckley, WV and her grandchildren Danielle Ormandy, Michael Hudak IV, and William “Alex” Ormandy, and many other extended family and friends who will miss her.
Mary Jo was a very devoted and loving mother, who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends, she was an avid fan of the blue and gold rooting for the WVU Mountaineers. She was a fan of Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and an avid reader. She was famous for her Italian dishes, most notably her spaghetti and meatballs.
The family would like to offer special thanks and gratitude for the loving care at Greystone Village, and Bowers Hospice House. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Bowers Hospice of Southern WV.
A funeral mass will be held at Saint Francis Catholic Church in Beckley, on Saturday August 6, 2022 at 11:00. Friends and family may call one hour prior.
