Mary Rose Lacy

With hearts full of love the family of Mary Rose Lacy is sad to announce the death of her on December 16, 2024. Mary Rose was the daughter of the late Haven, and Leva Claypool of Oak Hill, WV, and was the wife of the late Teddy Lacy.

She is the mother of two sons Ted of Fairdale, WV, and Tim of Weirton, WV. Two grandchildren Veronica and Braxton Lacy of Penn, two great grandchildren Luka, and Dawson of Penn, who Mary Rose always referred to as her babies. Two sisters Evely of Roanoke, VA, and Ruth Ann of Lynchburg, VA. A host of friends and two special friends of note April and Misty, who will all miss her dearly.

The family will accept friends on Thursday December 19, 2024 at the Fairdale Freewill Baptist Church from 6-8pm. The family will then invite all to celebrate her life with a service of remembrance on Friday December 20, 2024 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Highlawn Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill, WV.
