Maverick Scott Cornett passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025. His parents, Eric Scott Cornett and Brittani Leann Cornett love him and will miss him greatly.

One of his favorite things was when his mom drank orange juice and ate cheese sticks. He would get excited every time. These are memories that his family will hold close.

His family loved him incredibly and he will be missed greatly by his brothers and sister, Kloe, Cole, Gabriel, and Steven. Left to remember and cherish him are his parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Graveside services to honor Maverick will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens beginning at 1:00 pm and will be officiated by Pastor Orville Selliff. The family will receive visitors starting 1 hour prior to the service at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. A procession will be conducted from the funeral home to carry Maverick to his place of rest.
