Melvin Lee Brooks, Jr.

Melvin Lee Brooks, Jr., 50, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at his residence.
Melvin is preceded in death by his father Melvin Lee Brooks, Sr. and his mother Catherine Jane Brooks of Glen Morgan, West Virginia.
Those left to cherish his memory include his two boys, whom he loved dearly, Cody Allen Tanner of Beaver, West Virginia and Colton Lee Brooks of Beaver, West Virginia; sister, Audra Kathryn Brooks of Daniel's and her children who Brooks considered his own taking part in raising them; his beloved niece, Christon Audra Warden along with her boyfriend Joseph Yancey of Beaver; his beloved nephew, Eric Warden along with his wife Amber and their 3 sons of Grandview; niece, Tasha Mae Reichard and her son Soloman of Barboursville; his fiance, Kelly Lynn Hughes of Daniels, and her children Hayley Elizabeth, Alden Kristopher, Aaron Matthew, and Addison Ray Hughes, all of Richwood; last but not least, Brooks and Kelly's baby, Otter Lee Brooks of Daniels, WV.

A celebration of Brooks' life will be held at 4:00 pm at Melton Mortuary on Thursday, May 4, 2023. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior.
