Meridith Gwindolene Tucker

Meridith "Gwen" Gwindolene Tucker, age 84, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Gwen was born April 17, 1939 in Stanaford, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Gwinn and Rozella Griffith Holdway.
Gwen was preceded in death by the love of her life, Thomas Tucker and two brothers, Tom and Jeff Holdway. Those left to cherish her memory are her only son Thomas "Lee" Tucker and wife Heather of Beckley, three grandchildren, Zach Tucker and wife Alyssa of Glen Daniel, Taylor Cales and husband Shawn of Daniels and Lauren Tucker of Beckley, four great grandchildren, Bryleigh and Luke Cales, Kaycen and Halston Tucker.
Gwen was employed by the Raleigh County Health Department as the Business Manager.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Melton Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dewey Lowe officiating. Gwen will be laid to rest at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with her family and friends serving as pallbearers.
