Michael Wayne Hamilton, age 67, of Oak Hill, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, West Virginia. He was born on March 23rd, 1957 in Fayetteville.
Along with his parents William and Mary (Baughan) Hamilton, Mike is preceded in death by his sisters Alpha Treadway and Ginny Hamilton, and his brother Eddie 'Bill' Hamilton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Kay Hamilton of Oak Hill, children Amber Heater of Fayetteville, Mike Schoolcraft of Minden, and Lynn Collins of Beckley; grandchildren Austin Hamilton, Katelyn Adkins both of Oak Hill, Lilly, Summer, Daisy, Ruthanne, Taylor, and Autumn Collins all of Beckley; great-grandson Asher N. Vass; 8 siblings Danny, Linda, David and Randy Hamilton, Mary Lou Blethen, Brenda Gunther, Diane Spaulding, and Kathy Neal; and many extended family and friends who will miss him.

Mike was an avid WVU Football fan and enjoyed free time fishing with his family and work family. He dedicated over 45 years of his life with Mountain Vending, Inc. working in various positions taking care of the business.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date. It was his family's request to "Raise a bottle and toast to Mike, the life of every party, the king of witty comebacks, and the man who never met a swig of moonshine he didn't like. He lived life to the fullest always surrounded by laughter, love, and a good time with family. He leaves behind a legacy of humor, joy, and unforgettable memories.
