Mike Edgar McGinnis

Mike Edgar McGinnis, age 54, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at his home in Beckley, West Virginia.

He was born February 13, 1971 in Beckley, West Virginia, a son of Billy "Roger" and Katie June McGinnis.

Mike was a compassionate soul. There wasn't anything in the world he wouldn't share with those in need. He always made sure to help those that he knew needed help. That included his animals. Mike had many animals that he took in and would take great care of. Mike loved his family, especially his kids and grandbabies.

He was preceded by his parents, Roger and Katie McGinnis, and his brother, Jason McGinnis.

Those left to cherish Mike's memory are his children, Michael, Rachel (Dustin) Davis, and Katie (Donald) Lester; step-daughter, Tiffany; grandbabies, Gracie, Remington, Knox, and Dustin; sisters, Stephanie, Brenda, and Ella; brother, Billy; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service honoring Mike will be held on Friday, June 13th at the Melton Mortuary Chapel. The service will begin at 12:00 pm. Family will receive visitors one hour prior. Pallbearers will be his son, Michael; brother, Billy, son-in-laws, Dustin and Donald; nephews, Jason "Little Man" and Cody.
