Mildred Louise (Lilly) Curry

Mildred Louise Curry, 73 of Lexington SC went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 13th, 2019 following a long illness. Born November 15th, 1945 in Beckley WV she was the daughter of the late Denver and Edith Louise Ward Lilly.

Millie was a kind loving person that loved life. She was a devoted nurse of 42 years that loved helping people of any shape and form. She always had a smile on her face and could always make your day better just by talking to her. She loved all of her children, grandchildren and sisters.

She was preceded in death by two brothers; Russell and Charles Lilly, one sister Linda Dumyas.

Mema was survived by; one son Arnold Wilson Nipper Jr. of Dublin VA, two grandchildren Arnold Wilson Nipper III of Dublin VA and Dyanne Buckner and husband Nolan of Lexington SC... Three sisters: Mary Eastman of Beckley, Carol Helmondollar and husband Danny of Wytheville VA, Diana Leach and husband James of Beckley. She loved and cherished her dog and baby Ben. Special friends; Jenny, Fabio, and Alex Molano, Amy Clamp and Brenda Taylor and her son Shawn all of Lexington SC and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Melton Mortuary Chapel in Beckley WV with Elder James Leach officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal City Community Church Cemetery in Coal City. Friends may call on the family from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
