Milton Louis Moore

Milton Louis Moore, 71 of Beckley went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2020 following a long illness.

Born November 27, 1949 in Stanaford, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Buffes and Linner Mae Moore.

He was a US Navy Veteran until he was honorably discharged.  He worked for the City of New York for over 40 years as a maintenance engineer until he retired.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Daisy, Madeline and Dorothy; also 3 brothers Thomas, Dale and Oscar; 2 nephews Tracey Worsham and George Moore; and his niece DeeDee.

He is survived by his wife Jeannette of 40 years; 4 sons Milton, Jr., Michael (Dicea); Matthew (Santana), Marques (Erika); daughter Madelyne (Jay); 3 sisters Sandra, Laretta, and Sharon; 2 brothers Doby (Mary Alice) and Eugene (Patricia); 12 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Per Milton's request, cremation has been arranged and there will be no memorial services.
