Myra Susan Watkins

Myra Susan Watkins, 67, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Born March 11, 1953, in Beckley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Lee and Betty Joan (Flanagan) Watkins.

She is survived by her sister Michelle Griffith (Jeffrey); brothers James Watkins (Sandy) and Michael Watkins (Linda); many nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Susie graduated from Irvin High School in 1971 (El Paso, Texas), attended Shepherd University, and worked at the WV Department of Transportation for 30 years, retiring in 2019. Of all her achievements, being Aunt Susie to upcoming generations of nieces and nephews was her passion and focus. Her success in this role is written large upon the hearts and lives of those she leaves behind.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
