Nancy Jean Sears

Nancy Jean Sears age 56 passed away suddenly in her home on July.29, 2020.

She was born August.12, 1963, in Charlotte, North Carolina to Billy Gene Powell and Judy Ann Shaw.

 She married the love of her life Jerry Clinton Sears who preceded her in death in November of 2010.

 Nancy was an outspoken, protecting loving mother to two children, Troy and Amanda Powell and four grandchildren, Shyann and Braxton Powell and Jerilyn and Emaleigha Pack. She also had a son in law, Chris Pack and his son, Caleb; a daughter in law, Crystal Powell and her six children. 

 She was also preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Powell and survived by her children, Matthew Powell and Kayla Adams and her four children.

 Nancy was a beautiful kind hippie soul, who loved her family till her last breath.

 "If Roses grow in heaven, Lord, please pick a bunch for me place them in my Mother’s arms and tell her they are from me. Tell her I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile place a kiss on her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day. But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away."

 We love you  Mom more than you will ever know you are now standing in line with Daddy dancing in the sky looking down on us finally smiling and feeling no worry and no pain.

 You were my rock, solid and true.

The best friend I ever had.

You are a never ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I will always remember the tune.”
