Nora Nelson Obituary
Nora Eualee Nelson 90 of Beckley WV gained her angelic wings on June 12th, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband of many years Alexander Nelson. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Joy Hemmings, son Anthony Nelson, son Delroy Gayle, granddaughter Ingrid Stewart, granddaughter Casandra Rhodan, grandson Bruce Keith Stewart Jr, great grandchildren, Lakeisha, Kiondra, Morgan, BruShon, Bruciana, Donte, and John John, and many extended family and friends who will all miss her very dearly.
Nora was an amazing woman, mother, and grandmother who loved her family, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, cooking, no one ever went with an empty stomach, enjoyed reading, country music especially the man in black Johnny Cash. She also enjoyed western movies and shows especially Bonanza, and Gunsmoke. Her favorite on screen cowboy was Clint Eastwood. Nora was a devout Christian woman as well enjoying time at church and reading the bible verses to her children and grandchildren, especially the 23rd Psalm, The Lords Prayer, and Psalm 121.
Per Nora’s wishes cremation arrangements will be handled by Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center. The Family will schedule a memorial service for Nora later.
