Ollie G Asbury of Soak Creek WV went home to be with the Lord July the 19th 2020 at Bowers Hospice house at Beckley, WV
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years George E Asbury SR. Ollie G Asbury (Known as Dollie to family and friends)was born at Fire Creek WV to Charles and Ollie Brown June the 9th 1935

She was blessed with eight children. Five sons and three daughters. Lawrence-George Jr-Rita-Mark-Zita-Timothy-Lita and Gary. She had twenty grandchildren and numerous great grand children.

Special Blessings to her Grand daughters Martha McAlpine, Sara Whitaker and Emily Jesse for staying by her side at Bowers Hospice House. Also Special Blessings to Brittany Asbury for caring for her at home and in the hospital. And a VERY VERY SPECIAL BLESSING to her boys (Linklyn) who made her smile lifted her spirits and helped keep her well by the LOVE of this Beautiful little boy.

Our precious mother was a Christian who loved Jesus and wrote beautiful songs about him. She gave us life, nurtured us, taught us, fought for us, shouted at us, kissed us, held us and most importantly LOVED us unconditionally. Words can’t describe how important she is and will continue to be. We Love you Mom.

Grave side services will be held at our family cemetery at 304 Horizon Lane Lester WV.
