Orval Tollison Lusk

Orval Tollison Lusk. 93 of Glen Daniel went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 16th, 2020 following a short illness. Born December 1st,1926 in Herndon he was the son of the late Benjamin and Martha Jane Lusk.

Orval was a 70-year member of the Guyandotte Baptist Church at Jesse and was the oldest member of the church. Orval worked at Kopperston at the Cleaning Plant as an operator for 46 years. He was an Army Veteran of WWII serving in Japan.

He was preceded in death by one son, Rodney Keith Lusk and one granddaughter, Marsha Lynn Lusk Smith, and one grandson and one great-grandson. He is also preceded in death by 13 siblings.

Orval is survived by his wife of 71 years, Barbara Jean Lusk, two son’s, Orville Glen Lusk and wife Kay of Beckley, and Steven Mark Lusk and wife Debbie of Glen Daniel, three grandsons, Steven Keith Lusk and wife Trish of Charleston, Adam Keith Lusk of MD, Benjamin Mark Lusk of Glen Daniel, one granddaughter, Bethany Maltempie and Husband Adam of Beckley, two greatgrandchildren, Seth Lusk, and Cameron Maxwell Lusk, Two brothers, Beecher Loran Lusk and wife Nadine of Hampton VA, two sisters Ellie Graham of Odd, and Faye Marie Shrewsbury and her late husband Doug of Williamsburg VA.   

Private funeral services will be held by Pastor Tommy Lusk for the family. There will be no public visitation.
