Pansy Jane Civitillo, 83, of Beckley passed away on Good Friday April 18, 2025, at The Villages at Greystone.
Born on November 11, 1941, in Grantsville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Willie Paul and Hazel Wilmoth Riddle.
Pansy attended Calhoun County Schools and was a member of the Rockport Church of Christ and Parkersburg Women's Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hazel and Willie; also her brothers and sisters, Bernard Riddle, Hope Batten, Louise Breeden, Catherine Hupp and Marion Riddle.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 67 years Clarence Cary Civitillo, both formerly of Parkersburg, WV now presiding in Beckley. Pansy leaves behind her daughters, Debra Lee Civitilllo MacAulay of Beckley, WV and Pamela Jane Civitillo of Port Charlotte, Florida; grandchildren Bryce MacAulay (Lara) and their children (Evander and Finnegan) , Arrienne MacAulay, and Cara MacAulay, two sisters, Lois Johnson, Janet Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 28th at 11:00 am in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Pansy will lie in repose on Sunday, April 27th from 2 to 4 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel. The Vigil Prayer service will be at 3:30 pm.
