Patricia Marie Acord, age 73, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024. Born on November 26th, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Walter Bergen and Virginia Singleman Bergen. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Denver Acord Sr., and son James Acord.

Those left behind to forever hold and cherish her memory are her sons Denver and wife Pam of North Carolina, Timothy and companion Krista of Beckley, daughters Kristina and husband Robert of Beckley, and Deborah and husband Art of Tennessee, fourteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will all miss Patricia dearly.

The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Hospice of Southern WV for all of their love, compassion, and care during this difficult time.

A funeral service will take place for Patricia on Friday August 16th, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Grace Independent Baptist Church located at 127 Marietta Lane Beckley, WV 25801 with Pastor Benny Cozart officiating. The family will accept friends beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the Acord Family Cemetery located at 127 Marietta Lane Beckley, WV.
