Patricia Ann Lafferty, age 88, of Midway, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Patricia was born February 19, 1937 in Crab Orchard, West Virginia, a daughter of John and Kathleen Tudor. Patricia married her loving husband, Howard Lafferty, and spent many years together before his passing.

Patricia loved the Lord. She was a devoted to her faith as a Pentecostal Christian.

Patricia graduated from Beckley College with a Bachelors in Accounting. She began her career as an accountant and devoted many years working for Vecellio and Grogan before retiring.

Patricia was a woman who loved her family with all her heart. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her kids, grandbabies, and her great-grandbabies. Patricia was often found at the family gatherings showing her love to everyone there. She was a pillar of love and support to her family. Her loss will be greatly felt.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lafferty; parents, John and Kathleen Tudor; and brother, John Tudor Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael McGinnis and Matthew McGinnis; daughters, Randi (Michael) Cozart and Brittany (Mark) Hicks; grandbabies, Kaleigh Cozart, Michael Cozart III, Noah Cozart, Jayden Sheets, Cooper Hicks, and Ellis Hicks; and many other nieces, nephews, and family members who love her.
