Mrs. Patty Lou Hootman, 82 of Beckley WV, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 21st, 2025. Patty was born on October 8, 1942, a daughter of the late James Dorsey and Charles Edith Epperly Dorsey. In addition to her parents Patty is greeted just outside the Eastern Gate by her daughter Edith Renee Hootman.

Those left behind to forever cherish and hold Patty's memory and await a reunion are her son Scott Hootman, of Charleston WV, sisters; Paula Volpe of Columbus OH, Donna Hicks of Little Rock AK, and Pamela Smith of Beckley, WV, grandchildren; Maggie, Carter, Chase, and Dakota, and many other extended family and friends.

Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center has been entrusted with arrangements by the Hootman family and are honored to be serving them.
