Paul Eugene Blevins

Paul Blevins, age 76, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 1, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born May 15, 1948 in Helen, WV, a son of Louie Laverne and Thelma (Perkins) Blevins. He married the love of his life, Martha Blevins and they have been happily married for the past 52 years. Paul was a Stoco High School graduate and soon began his career as a truck driver. He began at 16 yrs old he delivered for the local company store and soon thereafter became a long haul truck driver. Paul was dedicated to his work and he proudly was awarded the 2 Million Miler Award without any accidents. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes, mowing his yard, and most importantly, spending his time with family and his grandkids.

He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Blevins of Beckley, WV, children Todd (Adrian) Blevins, Heather (Patrick) Blevins, and Thomas Blevins; grandchildren Kenzie (Michael) Wheeler and Hayes Taylor; great-grandchildren Haiden Blevins and Josie Snead; brothers Carlos (Lucy) Perkins, Arthur Blevins, Roger (Wilma) Blevins, Michael (Linda) Blevins, and Ronnie (Sharon) Blevins; sisters Helen Stone and Sherry (James) Faust and many extended family and friends who will miss him.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, July 5th, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Melton Mortuary. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Beckley with his family serving as pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Southern West Virginia in memory of Paul. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful caregivers at Hospice for the remarkable care of Paul.
