Paul Benton Fisher Jr., age 42, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Paul was born and raised in Beckley, West Virginia, where he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 2002. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Concord University in 2006.

In 2007, Paul joined the United States Navy, attending Officer Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida. He served for seven years, attaining the rank of Lieutenant, with assignments in Honolulu, Hawaii; San Diego, California; and Norfolk, Virginia. Following his military service, Paul began a career in cybersecurity with Synopsys, Inc. in Bloomington, Indiana.

Paul is survived by his father, Paul Fisher Sr. (Beckie Blatt) of Huntington, West Virginia; his mother, Cathy Fisher of Hubert, North Carolina; his sister, Allison Fisher (Justin Oney) of Huntington, West Virginia; and extended family, including his beloved rescue cats, Noir and Zelda.
