Pearlene Yvonne Pauley, age 76, of Beckley, West Virginia, formerly of Monterville, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Hidden Valley Health Care in Oak Hill, West Virginia.
Pearlene was born on June 20, 1949, in Monterville, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Luther Alan Ford and Reva Irma Ball-Ford. She married the love of her life, William "Bill" Doss Pauley on October 26, 1973, in Canvas, WV. Pearlene had a love of beauty and shared this passion with many others as a long-time beautician and hairdresser. In her earlier years she worked fiercely alongside her husband Bill in the construction industry even helping construct the bridge over Glade Creek at Beaver, WV.
Pearlene is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Reva Ford; her husband, William "Bill" Doss Pauley; sisters, Elsie Marie Ford See, Carol Louise Ford Day, Isalee Lavonne Ford Graves; and brothers, Charles David Ford and Henry Allen Ford.
Pearlene is survived by one sister, Joan Acord of Fairdale, WV; a special niece Tana Wriston of Beckley, WV; a great-nephew, David Monroe Buddy Wriston of Beckley, WV; Brothers-in-law, Darrell See of Huttonsville, WV, Charles Graves of Marysville WA, and Wonnie Acord of Fairdale, WV; One sister -in-law, Loretta Ford of Mill Creek, WV ; and several other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who will all miss Pauline dearly.
