Peggy Joan Huffman

Peggy Joan Huffman went to see her Lord and Savior on February 19th, 2021.  She was in her 90th year.

Peggy Joan Cook was born on July 11th, 1931 at Glen White, the daughter of Dorse and Cora Bessie Acord Cook.  She was the last survivor of her immediate family.

For many years Peggy worked in the retail business.   She would then marry the Rev. Gilvie Huffman and became a devoted minister’s wife.   Peggy was blessed with nieces and nephews who held her in high regard.   She will be remembered as a dedicated homemaker and was always so attractive in her appearance.  She has lived a long life and we know she is reunited her all her loved ones and her Lord and Savior.   May she rest in peace.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, February 24th from 2 to 3 pm at the Melton Mortuary.   There will be a private burial.
