Peggy Ann Derringer Hylton

Peggy Ann Hylton of Mabscott, went home to be with the Lord on October 19th, 2019. Peggy fought a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born on March 3rd, 1976, she was the daughter of the Edward Lee Derringer Sr., and the late Carrie Frances Toney Derringer.

Peggy will be missed by her loving husband, Douglas Hylton Jr. who was faithfully by her side; along with  siblings, Edie Ellison( husband, Steve), Fred Derringer (girlfriend, Pam Mullins) and Edward Derringer Jr., (wife, Lisa); many cherished nieces, nephews, Brittany Weaver,  Wyatt Weaver, Hailey Hylton, Jamie Hylton Erin Derringer, Christopher Derringer, Angel Metro, and Hope Ellison;  a great nephew, Wyatt Weaver  and a large extended family.

In addition to her mother, Peggy was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Bertha Rutledge and nephew, Nathaniel Ellison.

In addition to her immediate family, Peggy leaves her father-in-law, Douglas Hylton Sr., (wife, Norma); brother-in-law, Dallas Hylton (wife, Gloria) and many friends.

Peggy was a member of the Mabscott Hillcrest Baptist Church and she worked at IGA in Daniels.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 24th at 1:00 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Bill Reed will be officiating. The family will receive friends at 12 noon.   The burial will follow at John Ben.
