Phyllis Belcher 71, of Bolt WV went home to be with the Lord on February 3rd, 2026 at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Phyllis was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and CNA of 28 years working for Beckley Healthcare Center. Phyllis was born on May 26th, 1954 in Beckley, WV, a daughter of the late Troy and Ruby Mae Cole.

In addition to her parents Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Belcher, a son Carl Belcher, a daughter Sandy Belcher, sister Faye Pavlik, and brothers Buddy Cole, and Jack Blankenship.

Left to cherish her memories Phyllis leaves behind a daughter Stephanie Lambert(Charles), two grandchildren Nina Wood(Brandon), Casey Lambert(Alex), two great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply, Brooklyn Lambert and Chloe Wood, two sisters Betty Brown, and Pat Armstrong, one brother Dave Cole(Frenchie), one sister-in-law Kay Sanders(Raymond), as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family, co-workers, and friends.

Phyllis was a kind and giving soul devoting over 28 years of her life as a caregiver. In her free time she enjoyed playing the West Virginia Lottery, and the machines as she called them. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her great grand-babies and family.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the nursing staff and doctors at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for all of their care, comfort, and compassion shown to Phyllis and the family during this difficult time.

A funeral service will take place for Phyllis on Monday February 9th, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel. The family will accept friends beginning at 11:00am.
