Ralph William Bolt, age 77, of Lester, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at CAMC- Memorial Division in Charleston, West Virginia.
Ralph was born on December 29, 1947 in Fayetteville, West Virginia, a son of the late John Bolt and Nellie Mae Taylor-Bolt. He married the love of his life Carolyn Fraley, on June 10th, 1967 in Bolt, WV . Ralph served his country proudly in the US Army. Ralph was an avid angler always enjoying fishing for that trophy catfish. Aside from fishing Ralph also enjoyed antique vehicles especially his 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle. Ralph was a Christian man as well.
In addition to his parents Ralph is also preceded in death, his loving wife Carolyn, brothers James, John, Carl, Billy, and Bobby Ray, and sister Christine Bennett, two half brothers, Curtis, and Theodore, and two half sisters, Laverne Vance, and Edna Mae Hylton.
Those left behind to forever hold and cherish Ralph's memory are his three siblings, Geraldine Ingram of Beckley, WV, Robert Bolt of Beckley, WV, and David Bolt of Florida, and special friend Ellen Morgan, and many other extended family and friends who will all miss Ralph dearly.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of CAMC Memorial and Select Specialties Hospital for all of their compassion, comfort, love, and care shown to Ralph and the family during this time.
A graveside service will take place for Ralph on Monday, December 29th, 1947 at 1:00 pm in the Sunset Memorial Park mausoleum with full military honors. Arrangements entrusted to Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center who are honored to serve the Bolt family during this challenging time.
