Randy Paul Canterbury, age 78, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

He was born April 9, 1946 in Rhodell, West Virginia, a son of Vernon Paul Canterbury and Ondre Lee Murphy. Randy married the love of his life, Donna Marie Cox. They spent a wonderful 56 years together before his passing.

Randy served his country by enlisting in The United States Air Force for 4 years. He served in Bitburg, Germany in the mid-sixties.

He was a wonderful musician. Randy had many home concerts for his family and he even wrote and recorded his own single. He was a avid sportsman. He spent many hours fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his spouse Donna Marie Canterbury; daughter, Leigh (Robert) Niday; son, Ronald "Ron" Canterbury and Troy Canterbury; sister, Rheda Shrewsberry; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Ondre Canterbury and sister, Brenda Canterbury.
