Randy Dean Hoover of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Randy was born on March 15, 1951, in Victoria, TX, and was the son of-the late.Robert M. "Bob" Hoover and Blanche C. "Red" Hoover, of Elkview, WV.

He was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School, West Virginia Wesleyan College, and West Virginia University School of Law. Randy was a member of the WV State Bar Association and the Raleigh County Bar Association and practiced law in Beckley for 39 years.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia Faw Hoover; his brother Robyn G. Hoover (Linda) of Richmond VA; his sister, Rita J. Moore (Noble) of Elkview, WV; his favorite aunt, Patsy Hess of South Charleston, WV; his brother-in-law, Steven H. Faw (Donna) of Ghent, WV; his sister-in-law, Dr. Mary E. Faw-DeVono (Joseph) of Charleston, WV; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.

A Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Mr. Harry Evans at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Melton Mortuary Chapel, Beckley, West Virginia. Friends may call starting at 12:00 pm.
