Rev. Randy Robin Sadler
A minister of God’s Word and loving father, Randy Robin Sadler, age 65, of Beckley, West Virginia gained his Heavenly Wings and Home on Thursday, July 9th, 2020.
Born May 25th, 1955, in Beckley to Lawrence and Rev. Winnie Mae Burnside Sadler, he was the sixth of seven children. Rev. Sadler was a 1973 graduate of Marsh Fork High School and a graduate of Beckley College.
He was a devoted man of God up until his final days on earth. As a young man he answered the call to spread God’s Word. He did so by traveling near and far by preaching and singing with his God-gifted voice and his gift to play music. He was well known for his great piano playing and for being a part of the gospel band, “the Sadler Family, among others, throughout the decades.
In addition to his parents, Rev. Sadler was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Haley Brianne Hutchison; sisters, Bonnie Mae Crawford, Linda Dickens and her husband, Robert, Barbara Brady and her husband, Larry; brother, Lawrence “Jimbo” David Sadler; sister-in-law, Julie Sadler; nephews, David “Boo Boo” Sadler, Danny and Clifford Brady, Stephen “Yogi’ Tackett and James “Junior” Crawford.
Nothing meant more to Randy than his devotion to God and his entire family.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include the love of his life, and the mother of his children, Elizabeth Ann Spangler; his children, Christopher Sadler, Beth Ann Sadler and Jeremy Sadler; a grandson, William Lucas all of Beckley; two brothers, Samuel Sadler of Crab Orchard and Michael Sadler and his wife, Christina of Pickerington, Ohio; many generations of nieces and nephews, including Stephanie “Susie” Bailey, Mark and Matthew Tackett, Brian Dickens, Jeffery Brady, Samantha Sadler, Adam and Evan Sadler.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 20th at 1:00 pm in the Melton Mortuary Chapel. Pastor James Ray Dickens is officiating, assisted by Pastor Pete Landy. The burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 12 noon. Please observe the state guidelines for social distancing.
