Raymond Lee Adkins, age 64, of Fairdale, West Virginia, left this Earth carried by angels on Sunday, December 14, 2025 and looked upon his Saviors face.
Raymond was born February 24, 1961 in Bergoo, West Virginia, a son of Leonard and Mary Adkins. He married the love of his life, Tina Marie Richardson, and spent 17 wonderful years together before his passing.
Raymond was a devout Christian and loved the Lord, Jesus Christ. He was a member of the Maple Meadow Chapel Church in Fairdale for many years.
Raymond was a man with many talents. His wife described him as a "Master of ALL things Fixable". There wasn't a thing that Raymond couldn't fix, build, or drive. Raymond was determined to complete any task or project that he set his mind on. His family was often wonderfully surprised with the projects he took on and looked forward to seeing whatever he would take on next. His family would describe him as very driven and determined. There wasn't a thing that Raymond wouldn't do for the people he loved.
Raymond had a passion for horses, trail riding, camping with his horses, working on the farm, and raising his garden. He was a simple man who loved his family and the things he was passionate about. He enjoyed spending many hours with his grandchildren and taking them on adventures. Raymond was a true family man who wouldn't want to be anywhere else other than right there with them. His eternal love, Tina, children, grandchildren, and the rest of his family were his world.
Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Lee Adkins and Mary Alice (Richardson) Adkins; brother, Ray Lewis; and nephew, Jason Paul Adkins.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Tina Marie Adkins; sons, Scotty (Christy) Dishmon and Zac (Heather) Dolinger; bonus daughter, Katie Brown; grandchildren, Aaliyah, Logan, Scarlett, and Sadie; brothers, Paul (Patty) Adkins and Jimmy (Jerry) Daniel; sister, Mary (Buzz) Boggs; special friend, Larry Wright, who he shared his passion for horses and farming; rock to lean on and cousin, Harless "Junior" Adkins; and many other friends and family who love and miss him.
