Rebecca Ruth Smith was born on October 29, 1956 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late George and Mildred (Pruitt) Fisher. She passed away on December 28, 2020 in Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 64.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents George and Mildred Fisher and her brother George Fisher, Jr. of Beckley, West Virginia. She is survived by her husband Ronald Smith of Beckley; sisters Judith Ann Fisher of Paden City, WV and Mary Kincaid of Beckley, WV; foster brother Bernard Pruett of Rocky Mount, VA; nieces and nephews Charles Wilmink IV of Berea, OH, Georgeanne Altice of Stanaford, WV, and Sharon Pannell of Beckley, WV; several great-nieces and nephews and their children.
