Robert Mitchell Williams

Robert Mitchell Williams was born on October 8, 1955 in Charleston, WV to his parents Robert Woodrow and Lorena Bernice (Stearns) Williams.  He passed away on October 28, 2020 in Beckley, WV at the age of 65.

Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Lorena; brothers Danny, David, and Jamie Williams; paternal grandparents Dan and Zory Williams; and maternal grandparents Boxie and Hallie Stearns. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister Lora (John Stauffacher) Williams; nieces Angie Williams, Shelly French, and Sarah Williams; nephews Gary Williams II and Robert Williams; fur babies Thor and Bowzer; and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Mitchell was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and archery.  He was a gunsmith and bowsmith who loved spending his time with his pets, family and friends.

A Memorial Celebration of Mitchell’s life will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center beginning at 3:00 pm.  Online condolences can be offered to the family at www.meltonmortuary.com  Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center has the honor of serving the family.
