Robert Lloyd Worix was born on April 13, 1930 in Wise VA to the late Von Worix and Alice Bryant Worix.

He told his doctor that he wanted to make it to 100 years old, but God had other plans. He left this world and went home to his Savior on December 11, 2024.

Mr. Worix grew up in MacArthur, WV and worked many years in law enforcement. He was the chief of police in Lester during the 1980s . He was an excellent mechanic and loved working on old cars, trading and reselling them. He had a love of guns, fishing , and gardening.

Mr. Worix is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Frank, Clyde, and Howard (Hatfield); also his ex wife and mother of his children Donna J. Worix, two sons Bobby L Worix and Lloyd Worix and a daughter Kathy J Wilson.

Though he will be missed Mr. Worix is survived by three daughters: Patty McMillion and husband Jerry, Diane Redden and husband Clayton, Lisa Treadway and husband Lawrence. Three sons Larry D. Worix and wife Donna, Johnny Worix and wife Sandy, Brian Worix and wife Mandy, his last born granddaughter Ava Rose, and his brother Doyle Worix of Raleigh WV . Amongst his children he is also survived by twenty-two grand children, many other great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.

In keeping with Mr. Worix's wishes cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center with no formal services being scheduled.
