Rodenny "Denny" Stone, 75, formally of Rock Creek and Whitesville, WV, passed away on January 9, 2022 at the Putnam Center in Cross Lanes, WV.

Rodenny was born on September 24, 1946 to the late John Clarence and Effie Stone. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Clarice Ann Stone; brothers Johnny, Jimmy, Jesse, Junior, and Orville; and his sisters Mary and Bonnie.

Rodenny was a retired coal miner and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and planting flowers.

Denny leaves behind a son Denny (Lisa) of Clear Creek, WV, step-children Paul (Valerie) Blaylock of Dry Creek, WV, Pamela Redden of Rainell, WV, and Kimberly (Derek) Burgess of Glen White, WV; grandchildren Joseph and Creed Stone, Amy and Daniel Clendenin, Ryan (Shannon) and Jennifer Redden, Anyssa, Joshua (Alicia) and Jase Blaylock; great-grandchildren Joshua Blaylock, Aubrey Redden, Laela Shelton, Darian, Jakob, Landon, Hunter and Dylan Clendenin; sisters Hazel Scarbro of Ohio and Linda (Michael) Patrick of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

Denny will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, WV.
