Ryan Arthur Hernandez

Ryan Arthur Hernandez was born on January 6, 1998 in Beckley, West Virginia to his parents Rhinelander Arthur Hernandez Jr. and Shannon Marie Brown.  He passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 9, 2021 in Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 23.

Ryan is preceded in death by his aunt Heather Redden; great-grandmother Bertha Zaremba; and his great-grandmother Opal Harless.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents Rhinelander Arthur Hernandez Jr. and Shannon Marie Brown; sisters Nevaeh Brown and Natalie Hunt; daughter Sophee; paternal grandparents Rhinelander Arthur (Joyce R. Gill) Hernandez Sr.; maternal grandparents Arnold and Patricia Darnell and Melvin and Cammie Brown; and many extended family and friends who will miss him.

Ryan loved to spend time outdoors fishing, camping, and hunting.  He also enjoyed working with his hands fixing cars

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 1 pm – 3 pm at the Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the family or by donating towards his funeral expenses by calling Melton Mortuary.  Words of comfort may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com
