Sachiko Fuji Eller

Sachiko Fuji Eller was born April 9,1930 and died peacefully after a brief illness on November 14, 2021 at 91 years old. 

She was born in Nagoya, Japan.  She was an Air Force Military spouse for 20 years and came to the United States in April 1972 and made Sophia, WV her home for 44 years. During her time in Sophia, she was an avid gardener, raised Siberian Huskies and loved sewing and music, often playing her harmonica for anyone celebrating a birthday or other celebratory event.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Ernie Eugene Eller.

She made Goldsboro, NC her home for the past 4 years.  She was a proud mother to her son Danny & wife Lisa, grandmother to Michelle, Melissa, Michael and most recently to great-granddaughter Ellie. 

Interment will be on Thursday, November 18, 2021 2:00 pm at the Hot Coal Cemetery in Sophia, WV. Words of comfort and condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.meltonmortuary.com
