Samuel Eric Lilly, Sr (AKA Fuzzy), age 69, of Odd, West Virginia, passed away Saturday February 8, 2020 with complications from an ATV accident.
Born June 1, 1950 at Duns, he was the son of James E. Lilly Sr. (d. 2007) and Ina Watkins Lilly (d. 1977). Sam was retired with an avid love for ATV riding, and the outdoors. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Phyllis Treadway; and half-brother, Henry E. Lilly. Sam’s survivors are his daughter, Samantha Cales, with three grandchildren, Jonathan, Emily and David Cales; and his son, Eric Jr.; and his daughter Bryanna Lilly. Other survivors include his sister, Mary Allen of Sophia, and her daughters, Stephanie Basham, Lynette Allen (Lee Bolen), Sarah Blankenship, with Hannah Blankenship; niece, Peggy Treadway Trump, who has been a tremendous help; sister, Sallie Duncan of Savannah Georgia; half-sister, Viola Lilly of Sophia; half-brother “Jimmy” Lilly of Sophia.
At the request of Sam (Fuzzy), there will be a celebration of his life in the spring.
Special mention goes to Heather Thomas, Peanut and Kat Lowe, who were his adopted family, with their children. Clayton and Shelby Virgil were his special friends also.
