Obituary
Sandra Fay Neal, 72, of Cool Ridge, WV, was called home to Jesus on August 17, 2023. She passed away peacefully at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born on August 11, 1951 to Benjamin Harrison Jones and Zenna Jones, Sandy was a lifelong West Virginia resident. After graduating from Shady Spring High School in 1969, she began making her way to a successful career, eventually retiring from the National Mine Academy in 2008. She was an avid gardener and loved baking. She was also an animal lover and always shared her life with her beloved pets. But above all, she loved her family fiercely and placed their needs and well being above all else. She was dearly loved and will be missed beyond measure by her family and friends.
Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those involved in her care throughout her short hospitalization at both Cabell Huntington Hospital and at Bowers Hospice House. God placed angels in her path every step of the way.
In keeping with Sandy's wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Melton Mortuary and Cremation Center, with no formal services scheduled.
