Sheena Marie Humphrey, age 44, of Cool Ridge, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 after a long battle with illness. Sheena fought as hard as she could to stay with her family but ultimately lost her fight with cancer and went home to be with the Lord.

Sheena was born December 2, 1981 in Beckley, West Virginia, a daughter of Curtis and Joyce Richmond. She married the love of her life, William "Billy" Humphrey Jr and they raised 4 beautiful children together. They built a wonderful life full of love and laughter. Her husband's heart broke when she left this world. Sheena was a light that filled the lives of everyone she knew. Her light was a beacon of love for many and she will be greatly missed.

Sheena graduated from Meadow Bridge High School and went straight out into the workforce. She was a hard worker and set a strong example to her children and those around her. Sheena's favorite job was when she worked at Lowes in the Outdoor section. She was known for her green thumb and loved being around and tending to the plants. It brought Sheena great joy to find a plant that was on the precipice of death and nurture it back to life. She was known for her beautiful garden at home that contained everything from blueberry bushes to flowers that she loved.

Sheena was not one to let the negatives in life bring her down. When she was upset, she would put on some headphones and dance her stress away. Another passed time of Sheena's was watching Three's Company. She was a devoted fan and loved the enjoyment she got from the antics in the show. Sheena was a wonderful woman who lived life to the fullest and filled it with happiness and silly moments. She was a strong woman that loved her family and always kept them in the forefront of her mind.

Those left to cherish Sheena's memory are her loving husband of many years, Billy Humphrey; children, Kain, Kaydence, Kenleigh, and Kyleigh; parents, Curtis and Joyce Richmond; close friend, Robert Thompson; and many other family and friends that love and miss her.
