Sherri Lynn Hunt, age 65, of Midway, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 at home.

She was born November 10, 1959 in Beckley, West Virginia, a daughter of John Hunt and Ruth Cox.

Sherri was a devoted attendant of Hilltop Baptist Church in Midway. Truly believed in the love the Lord gave to her and the salvation that he gave.

She loved spending her time with family and friends. There was no way she'd rather spend her time than surrounded by those that loved her. Sherri was also an avid beach lover. She went every chance she could.

Sherri is survived by her mother; sisters, Kim Hunt and Becky (Preston) Blevins; niece, Rebekah Blevins; nephew, Keith Blevins; grand-daughter, Katie Carte; great-grandchildren, Xander and Gemma Carte; and many other cousins and family members who will miss her greatly.

The family wants to thank the staff at Bowers Hospice House for the wonderful care that they provided to Sherri. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bowers Hospice House of Beckley in honor of Sherri.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.
