Sherry Lee Jones, age 80, of Beckley, West Virginia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 10, 2024 with her family by her side.

She was born March 20, 1944 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, a daughter of Andrew Jackson Gray and Virginia Louise Frazier.

Sherry graduated from Martisnburg High School and was a Majorette and a Flag Twirler. After, she went on to attend Shepherd College to obtain her LPN License.

Sherry was an avid traveler. She spent much of her time traveling and filling her life with those memories. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent a lot of time spoiling her grandchildren. Sherry was a great sister; spending time taking care of and helping to raise her baby brother. She was everything to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Holly Jones; son, Eric "Scott" Jones; grandchildren, Xander "Kanie", Scott Patrick Jones, Andrew Todd Jones, Matthew Sean Jones, Eric Alexander Jones, and Keanan Michael Jones; siblings, James "Ronny" (Rebekah "Becky") Gray and Kevin (Beth) D. Gray; nieces, Samantha Elizabeth Gray, Brigitte (Todd) Lane Frye, Christa (Grant) Hope Megargee; nephew, Alexander Tyler Gray; family member, William "Agee" Shifflett; and her close family friends Earl and Rita Jones; best friend, Donna Gilliam; and many other friends that love and miss her.

In accordance with her wishes, Sherry will be cremated and her services will be held at a later date.
